Title: Somewhere In Neverland
Author: ChimneyThunder
Band(s): My Chemical Romance, Bert McCracken (The Used), Mindless Self Indulgence, Pete Wentz (Fall Out Boy)
Pairing(s): Frank Iero/Gerard Way, previous Gerard Way/Bert McCracken
Word Count: 53,250
Rating: 15, for violence and themes of depression and addiction.
Warning(s): Recovery from severe depression, addition and attempted suicide. Child death, disappearance and abduction. Minor/adult relationship (kept very PG )
Summary:
Gerard Way is living back at his parent’s house as a 28 year-old in recovery from alcoholism and severe depression. He’s supposed to be looking after Pete Wentz, the brattiest eight-year old he’s ever had the misfortune to meet, when Pete gets kidnapped by none other than Captain Hook and taken to Neverland. Before you can say “clap your hands if you believe in fairies”, Gerard’s been whisked off to Neverland by his old not-so-imaginary friend Peter Pan to save the kid and have some wonderful adventures of his own.

However, things are never as simple as they should be, and if Gerard ever wants to save Pete and get back home, he’s going to have to confront some very adult truths about himself, and in the meantime, he's also going to have to delve into the Peter Pan mythology and discover the truth about the boy who never grew up.

Author's Notes: The Peter Pan mythology used in this is more based on the version in the book. However, aspects from all other versions are used too - for example, the whole "second star to the right" thing is pure Disney. Other versions of Peter Pan referenced include: the original play, the book, the Disney version, the 2003 film, Hook... and then a lot of it is where I threw the source material out the window and used my own interpretation on things.

I want to also say a HUGE thank you to illheardheaven and [personal profile] morganya for the amazing mix and art they provided!

Thank you SO much to both of you!! I am completely in love with this mix (weirdly, I had my own playlist made when I was writing this, which actually had a Metric song on it!) It fits the story SO well! When I was listening to it, I could immediately tell what parts each track related to (Black Heart totally made me laugh because yes, there really is no better way to describe Hook :D :D ) and all the tracks flow together so seamlessly. :)

And as for the art, wow - I was completely blown away when I realised I'd gotten 3 pieces! I love the detail on the tree and how the branches all tangle together, and in the second one - HIS SMIRK!!! <3___<3 And in the third one - the colour is amazing! Completely hypnotic and an eye I would totally get lost in. :)

Title: The Science of Sleep
Author: Chimneythunder
Band(s): My Chemical Romance (with cameo appearances from The Used and Fall Out Boy)
Pairing(s): Frank/Gerard
Word Count: 90,000+
Rating: 15
Warning(s): Violence, swearing, minor character death
Summary:
It’s 2011 and Frank Iero’s life is pretty average until the night where he starts getting dreams about a strange, apocalyptic California where there’s rayguns, grey corporations and terrorists who use art and colour as a weapon. Interesting and fun at first, but the more he dreams about this world, the more he starts to wonder if it really is a dream... and the deeper he gets into this futuristic world, the more it seems to affect his life in the present day.
And just how exactly does everything all seem to link in with that douche-bag black-haired artist who sits in Starbucks every day?
(Set in the Danger Days world but not necessarily following the cannon established by the album and music video's.)

Author's notes: Dedicated to Manu, my beta reader and all round cheerleader for keeping me going when writing this! Also thanks to Rebecka and Sammy for reading over parts of this when I needed some quick feedback!! And a huge thank you to the people who provided art and mixes for this!!! MWAH!!

Title: A Simple Instruction To Follow
Band/Universe: McFly / Doctor Who.
Pairing(s): Pretty gen. Vaguely implied Dougie/Eleven
Word Count: 4,027
Rating/Warnings: PG. Bit of swearing and general sillyness.
Author's note: I blame Dougie Poynter entirely for this. He posted this photo --

-- and suddenly, my entire feed was filled with "OMG DOUGIE AND THE DOCTOR!!" And so, I settled down to write this. Literally written in 5 hours, it was supposed to be a drabble but then I just kept writing...

Only checked over once, so I'm sorry for any typos or errors.
Disclaimer: I do not own Doctor Who or McFly. Sorry.

Summary: Dougie Poynter is the Eleventh Doctor's companion. A short detail of one of their adventures.
